Performance Data

Below is a summary of the Wells Primary schools’ performance data for 2023. We are extremely pleased with our data, which shows that pupils continue to make excellent progress. As an inclusive school, there will always be variances between the attainment of different year group cohorts but the overall picture for Wells’ pupils remains extremely positive and reflects the hard work of pupils, staff and parents/carers in supporting our children. 

The charts show the attainment of the pupils at the end of each Key Stage. The league tables can be very confusing because schools are measured against a range of different indicators. It is also worth mentioning that, within our small school, each pupil accounts for 2.2% approximately and all pupils within the cohort are included in the data.

Whilst attainment is a very important indicator of school performance, pupil progress between Key Stages is also a key factor.
